Built in 1881 as an opera house by William Henry Dickens, The Dickens Opera House is set above the Dickens Tavern. Throughout its many years of existence, it has been an entertaining facility for the local community. Formerly used as the headquarters for the 157th Infantry of Colorado National Guard, The Armory at Brighton Cultural Center, today is a center for performing arts in Brighton. This small and intimate theater is used for hosting concerts, dance shows, theater productions and many cultural events throughout the year. The main auditorium has a maximum seating capacity for 300 spectators, and it is equipped with state-of-the-art sound and light technology.

The Art Underground began as a place where theater groups could rehearse and perform. The Art Underground now includes a gallery, an art studio, and a planning center for arts festivals in the Louisville area. The venue also provides acting, music, and dance classes for all ages and levels. Drop-ins are welcome at nearly all classes, and free trial classes are also offered. Youth summer camps and youth theater productions such as Aladdin Junior or Annie Junior are also performed at the Underground. Erected in 2009, the Steinbaugh Pavilion provides Louisville residents with a center for the many local festivals held in the downtown area. From the Taste of Louisville festival, Memorial Day and Labor Day festivities, Oktoberfest, and even the seasonal farmer's market, the Steinbaugh Pavilion is where you'll find it. The small covered pavilion seats approximately 150 people.
