French for "The Enclosure," Amelia Island's premiere French restaurant adds a dash of European culture to this small community. Light music adds intimacy to this cozy spot that comes complete with candlelight and a cottage setting. Master Chef-owner Katherine Ewing was trained in France and creates such treasures as a chicken and pork liver pate, escargots, or Crabe Farci, a crabmeat cake served with assorted peppers and pineapple relish. Entrees might include Coquilles St Jacques a la Provençal or a catch of the day with an irresistible sauce.
All coffees roasted on site. Freshly baked pastries each morning and the only authentic New York bagels on Amelia Island. Try the koko loco (mocha latte) and the scones and muffins.

When the three sisters, namely Lynda, Michelle, Mary Jane and Áine migrated to United States, they brought the rich Irish cuisine with them and started the Culhane's Irish Pub. With such a great team of Irish owners/chefs, you are sure of the authenticity of the food served here. Dishes prepared at Culhane's are made in the traditional Irish cooking ways and there is no compromise on quality. Such is the popularity of this place, that it has even featured on national television. The fun and lively atmosphere here is simply an added bonus. So for a pleasant dining experience, a dinner at the Culhane's Irish Pub.
Ocean 60 is a beautiful restaurant serving exciting contemporary fare with an Island dash. The menu is an inspiration from all the world travels the chef owner had taken and is like a tribute to them. Changing seasonally, the menu is vast and delectable. Offering a two in one dining experience, the main dining room is cozy and has a wine bar with Enrique Mora, a local artist's lovely paintings adorning the walls. The connecting Martini Room has a rich woody look with imported furnishings and local paintings on the walls, it is more like a rotating gallery as every quarter a new artist is represented here. Giving a different look to the room every time. While you enjoy an intimate dinner at the main room, the Martini Room is buzzing with live music from Thursday through Saturday along with fabulous food and great drinks. The restaurant is available for private and corporate events and also caters. Reservations are highly recommended.
Pete's Bar has been a beach institution for more than 70 years, and is a favorite hangout for locals and visitors alike. No-frills is the key word for this pool hall and tavern. Assorted seating is available next to the pool tables and at the bar, but most folks choose to stand; it's easier to mingle. Whatever your poison, Pete's is likely to have it on hand, from draft beer to mixed cocktails and wine. Some package goods can be taken on the go.
One of the best night-out places in Jacksonville is the Gold Club, which comes alive with really cool music played by the DJ. You can enjoy the drinks offered by the waitresses at the bar. With exotic dancers around you're sure not to leave the club early. Though a bit expensive than other clubs in Jacksonville, you're sure to come back to this club again.

Rather than tourists, it is outgoing locals and bikers that flock to The Red Door Saloon to have a beer or two. Especially off-season, the place has a divey feel to it. With both an indoor and outdoor bar and a huge dance floor there's plenty of space to have a good time and show off your dance skills. Also, drink specials and costume parties make for an unforgettable Destin experience.
Rock and country music blasts out of the sound systems and bartenders dance on the bar - plus, they know how to make a good drink. Coyote Ugly is just that kind of bar. Free shots are awarded to every woman who dares to show off her dance skills on the bar. Unsurprisingly, you'll find mechanical bulls on the outside patio. Pool tables are available in a less crowded section of the bar.
