»Fargo Brewing Company

Two marketing professionals and friends: Jared Hardy and Aaron Hill, joined hands with beer loving siblings: John and Chris Anderson, to establish Fargo Brewing Company in 2010. The company saw extremely humble beginnings, as beers were brewed in a garage. As the popularity of Fargo Brewing Company increased, the need for a better space arose, and in 2013 a facility was set up at North University Drive. Stone’s Throw Scottish Ale, Sodbuster Porter and Wood Chipper IPA are some of their popular brews. Tours around the brewery and tasting of beers are offered.

»Trollwood Park

One of the city’s several parks, the Trollwood Park lies alongside the serene Red River at the northernmost part of Fargo. The land where the park stands was originally a farm; but neglect and mismanagement led to the farm being razed, and subsequently the nursing home on the property was razed as well. After the City of Fargo purchased it, on the condition that they would maintain the three cemeteries on the property, the land was transformed into a community gathering point. The presence of these cemeteries, however, led to the park earning the reputation of being haunted, and there have been several sightings of what are thought to be paranormal phenomena. Contact the City Park District to know more.
