    Formerly known as a tavern , the Ship Inn was a beautiful amalgamation of the Georgian and Federal architectural styles that was spread over 1.2 acres (0.49 ha) of land. This structure that originally housed a tavern was in operation until 1854. Later, in the 20th Century, one saw an evolution of a restaurant in this structure. With the amazing food and the ambiance of the place, this restaurant came to be well known among the people and tourists for some lovely meals. This structure hit the registers of the National Historic Places in the year 1984.

The brewery occupies what was once the Pepperidge Farm factory and also has a large brewpub on site.
