L'église St Nicolas
8, rue Montagne
The Romanesque body of L'église St. Nicolas was constructed in the 11th or 12th century as the abbey-church of a Benedictine monastery. Subsequent additions are sculpted in flamboyant Gothic and Renaissance styles of architecture. Visitors to the church can inspect and appreciate the sculpted ceiling and pillars, the original altar from the 11th century, the gargoyles outside, and the lovely stained-glass windows representing bible scenes.
