This miniature golf course comes complete with a man-made waterfall and lush green carpets of grass. Those who wish to celebrate their birthdays here can do so with help from the friendly staff.
Walnut Greens, operated by Schaumburg Park District, is a challenging nine-hole, par-3 public golf course. It has a unique Killian and Nugent design, making it a perfect setting for players of all ability, including beginners and teens. It is also a great practice course for golfers of all skill levels. Each season Walnut Greens offers a variety of leagues and lessons.
Redesigned in 1989 by Bob Lohmann, this scenic, semi-private/daily fee, 18-hole course is exciting and challenging, with fairways which vary in width, and water hazards that come into play on at least six holes. It features 6,405 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 69.5 and it has a slope rating of 115. Walking is not allowed until 2 PM on the weekends on this course, so carts are included in weekend green fees. A pro shop and clubhouse are also on-site.
Operated as part of the Schaumburg Park District, this family indoor aquatic park offers fun for the whole family, year round. It offers three water slides, rapid water channel, water playground, diving pool, lap pool, gradual beachlike entry pool, and whirlpool. There is a family changing room and a nursery. Swim lessons and aquatic aerobics classes are offered.
This recreation center operated by the Schaumburg Park District offers a full range of exercise equipment, a gymnasium, indoor track, three racquetball courts, two saunas, a whirlpool, and free-weights. Midwest physical therapy, group fitness classes, massage, and personal training are available.
Open mid-March to December 23rd. Designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr., in 1939, Pottawatomie Golf Course is a regulation 9-hole course along the Fox River. There is also a putting green, practice range, pro shop, carts/pull carts, clubs available for rent, clubhouse, lounge, dining, and lessons.

The Sportsplex of St. Charles is a state of the art athletic facility. The Sportsplex houses two 185' X 85' indoor fields that can convert to hard surfaces as well as host special events, concerts, shows, and large group outings.
The Sport Center is an all-indoor athletic facility operated by the Schaumburg Park District. Opened in 2005, this 100,000 sq .ft. building includes four basketball courts, six volleyball courts, two soccer fields (convertible to one softball/ baseball field), a gymnastic center, and two batting tunnels. A gymnastics program featuring recreational classes, private training and gymnastics teams is offered as well as youth camps, leagues and adult basketball, volleyball, soccer and softball leagues. A concession stand is on-site.
Watch knights on horseback re-enact an 11th century tournament complete with jousting matches and sword fights while feasting on a four-course banquet at the castle of King Alfonso the Magnificent. Admission includes a two-hour show, dinner (which you eat with your hands) and beverages. A cash bar is open throughout the show. There is free parking. Call ahead for timings.
There are 27 total holes of golf at this municipal golf facility, which features an 18 hole regulation length course, as well as a 9-hole "Players" course. It has bent grass fairways, double row irrigation, USGA tees and greens, practice greens, a driving range and a teaching area. The generous fairways are wide enough for the high handicap player to keep the ball in play, yet challenging for lower handicap players with its grading differentials, proper bunker placement, gently rolling hills and water hazards. A prairie-style clubhouse with a complete array of amenities, including a full-service pro shop, banquet halls, meeting rooms, restaurant, and women's locker rooms is on-site.
