    Located inside Keystone Heritage Park, the El Paso Desert Botanical Gardens is the home to the region's succulent plants. The gardens feature well-manicured grounds populated primarily with desert flora, however there are plenty of other non-succulent species as well. In fact, there are seven gardens in total, those of which are the Xeriscape, Butterfly, Culinary, Healing, Formal, Cactus and Children's gardens, respectively.     Located in El Paso Texas, this university is an integral part of EL Paso. UTEP has a number of spaces within it's campus for hosting various types of events and shows. Featured event spaces include Don Haskins Centre, Sun Bowl Stadium, Fox Fine Arts Recital Hall and Magoffin Auditorium. Also available is a facility to house art exhibits. Each venue has its own distinct features and is complete with state-of-the-art amenities, audio-visual effects and ample seating space. Stages, tables, chairs and lecterns and other necessary equipment can also be arranged for. The Special Facilities Management at the University of Texas at El Paso maintains the facilities at UTEP.

The glowering sphinxes that guard the entrance are but a hint of the treasures inside.     »Union Depot

    The famous city designer and architect Daniel Burnham designed this historic three-story building in his trademark neoclassic style. The station was erected in 1906 and placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975. Over those last seventy years, the station gradually fell into disrepair until the city restored the entire structure in the 80's. Today, Amtrak has trains that run through its terminals and if you find yourself downtown, it's definitely a building that deserves a visit.
