    »Huffman Field

    The Huffman Field, or the Huffman Prairie Flying Field is an open patch of land near Dayton, Ohio. This field is special because this is the place where the Wright brothers, credited with building the first operational airplane often tested their inventions. Later, the Wright Flying School was also operated at this place. This National Historic Landmark is also on the U.S. World Heritage Tentative List. Visitors can also see a reproduction of the 1905 hangar and catapult of the Wright brothers at the field.
