    Extreme Dinosaurs
Premier Exhibition Center at Atlantic Station August 22, 2014 11:00 AM
    171 17th Street
    Atlanta, GA 30363
Making its U.S. debut in Atlanta, this immersive exhibition brings you and your family nose-to-snout with 17 life-sized animatronic dinosaurs, allowing you to control their movements through interactive consoles and providing a paleontologist's-eye-view of the latest scientific discoveries. T-Rex, velociraptor and triceratops are all here and ready to roar, of course, but so are several other cool dinosaur species that've only been discovered in the last few years, including five with feathers. Plus, you can explore real and recreated fossils, check out the 57-foot-long Omeisaurus skeleton and participate in plenty of hands-on activities at this cutting-edge exhibit. It's probably as close as you'll ever come to visiting a real-life "Jurassic Park", and you don't have to worry about becoming a raptor snack.

    La Riots
    Opera NightclubAugust 22, 2014 10:00 PM
    1150 Crescent Avenue
    Atlanta, GA 30309
Building underground cred within the electro house scene with a series of remixes of tracks by artists such as Justice, Crystal Castles and The Cure, LA Riots is the Los Angeles DJ duo of Daniel Ledisko and Jo'B. Though they're most often working with other artists' songs, the two rework their source material to create glossy and chic club tracks full of strong four-on-the-floor pulses, huge-sounding synth bass and chopped up vocal work. LA Riots is a clear-cut representation of what's hip in the modern electro house scene around the massive club scene of Los Angeles.
