    Leopold and His Fiction
    The EarlSeptember 17, 2014 8:30 PM
    488 Flat Shoals Avenue Southeast
    Atlanta, GA 30316
Combining a highbrow appearance with a grimey sonic aesthetic, Leopold and His Fiction is a three-piece outfit based in Austin. Founded in 2005, the band spent its formative years in San Francisco and Denver before settling in Texas and nailing down its blues and folk-infused garage rock sound.

The Atlanta Braves are a Major League Baseball team and a member of the National League East Division. Established in 1871 as the Boston Red Stockings, the Braves are one of the two remaining charter franchises of the National League. The team played in Boston until 1953, when they moved to Milwaukee for 13 seasons. In 1966, the Braves relocated to Atlanta, where they have remained since. The franchise is the only one in Major League Baseball history to win a World Series title in three different cities. The Braves were dominant throughout the 1990s and into the early 2000s. They won the NL East 14 consecutive times from 1991-2005, appeared in five World Series over that time frame, and won the championship in 1995. Some of the great players in Braves' history include Warren Spahn, Hank Aaron, and Greg Maddux.

Deer Tick is an alt-country/indie folk act from Providence, Rhode Island. The group rose to prominence in 2009 after being the first band to be profiled on BriTunes, the web-only music interview program hosted by NBC Nightly News anchor Brian Williams. Since then, the band has been busy attempting to make a name for itself in the nefarious independent music scene with folksy songs that highlight lead singer John McCauley's rugged voice.

    Uga Miracle Presents Chase Rice
    Georgia TheatreSeptember 17, 2014 8:30 PM
    215 North Lumpkin Street
    Athens, GA 30601
Singer/songwriter Chase Rice has applied the words of his high school football coach, Bobby Poss, in a series of accomplishments that others merely contemplate – he’s been the starting linebacker for the University of North Carolina; a member of a NASCAR pit crew; a touring artist who sold out strings of venues across the country without a record company, a manager or a song on the radio; and a co-writer of a record-setting, many-times multi-platinum single, Florida Georgia Line’s “Cruise.” There are few Nashville artists who can match Rice for his drive, his relentless energy and his confidence. And even fewer who are positioned as well to succeed.
