This restaurant is located near Broadway at the Beach. It offers appetizers such as shrimp and vegetable tempura and beef or tuna teriyaki. Entrees include teriyaki chicken and beef, shrimp, rib eye, filet mignon and other delicious combinations. You also get soup, house salad, shrimp appetizer, vegetables, fried rice and sherbet for dessert. The dinner is cooked in front of you on the hibachi table around which you are seated. A large of assortment of sushi is also available.
The Liberty Steakhouse & Brewery is the newest brewery on the Grand Strand. Located at Broadway at the Beach, this brewery has at least 6 different, interesting, brewed beers on tap daily. The food is good, but the menu is limited to appetizers, steaks, seafood and pizzas. A few of the entrees are marinated in ale. There is a kids menu. Pints are $2 and appetizers are half price during happy hour. Open everyday from 11 am onwards.
Longbeards is a favorite of local bikers for its simple, unpretentious beers and food. Despite the somewhat surly patrons, Longbeards is also a family-friendly place, where you will see all types of different people enjoying BBQ, burgers, wings and other American favorites. The building in which it is housed looks like a ultra-modern log cabin and inside the decor features a hunter's theme throughout, with deer antlers on the wall as well as on the server's T-shirts. Located on the lake at Broadway at the Beach, Carlos 'n Charlie's invites patrons to relax on the back deck and watch the zip liners "fly" across the water. With an expansive menu, the restaurant serves fairly large portions of tasty South-of-the-Border themed cuisine. This restaurant offers a nice break from lots of walking around this large attraction. Amici's is one of the only places in Myrtle Beach where you can get a slice of pizza from a wood-fired oven. This traditional Neapolitan way of making pizza flash heats them, making the pizza done in less than a minute. The results are delectable and aside from pizza, the menu offers classics like ravioli, tortellini, lasagna and manicotti. Locals also recommend trying the stromboli, the 'Sicilian' and 'Gladiator Philly Steak' are big enough for two or three people.
Although the focus of the main menu is on fresh seafood, this popular and comfortable restaurant also offers steaks, hamburgers and chicken options. Located at Broadway at the Beach, diners can eat outside on the waterside deck with views of Wonderworks and other attractions. Noted entrees include the Shrimp Trio, Chicken Romano and Shrimp Brochettes. Patrons can enjoy a Happy Hour from 4p to 7p daily with specialty drinks and a variety of appetizers. Family friendly, the restaurant offers a children's menu and Early Bird Specials for those who like to dine before 5p. Located at Broadway at the Beach, this hot night spot for socializing gets busy Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. If you like jukebox tunes, a full bar and a happy hour with drink specials and discounted snacks, this is the place to go. The ambiance is relaxed, so dress casual. Part of the Myrtle Beach social scene, this stop along the Broadway at the Beach trail offers full bar service with creative mixed drinks, jello shots and a wide selection of beers. There is no cover charge and there's a bouncer at the front door. It gets very busy on Friday and Saturday nights. You can sample almost any drink with a crazy name such as the Triple Bipass or Category 5 Hurricane. The menu at Planet Hollywood is good, but you don't necessarily go here for the food; you want to see the memorabilia of the famous and infamous. From footwear to hats, Planet Hollywood has it all. Large screens show trivia, movie clips and previews. Near Broadway at the Beach, this is a great place for large groups and meetings. One private room holds up to 75 people and has two 66-inch screens and one 100-inch screen for presentations and videos.
If you like crab, this is the place to eat. Joe's Crab Shack, located at Broadway at the Beach, serves more than six varieties of crab in five different ways, all year round. Don't be fooled by the extremely casual atmosphere. The restaurant is one cavernous room with large wooden tables and memorabilia from the 50's and 60's on the walls. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. Besides crab, Joe's also has soups, sandwiches, grilled tuna, shrimp, salmon, and steaks. They also pack crab for traveling.
