All Time Low: The Future Hearts Tour

When the members of All Time Low first started playing music together in 2003, the band covered songs by well known pop punk bands like Green Day and Blink 182. As time progressed, though, the members of All Time Low realized that if they wanted to seriously pursue a professional career in music, they'd have to start writing their own original material. The band's songs are in the same vein as the bands it covered and All Time Low's tunes were met with some commercial success and ever since then the band has been touring and releasing albums of original material.

Tyler, The Creator With Special Guest Taco

After reading his MySpace bio that begins "I'm 18, I like fat girls, and the piano is nice," it's difficult to figure out what kind of music Tyler, the Creator creates. The highly bloggable wunderkind, and leader of Long Beach-based buzz band Odd Future, creates underground hip-hop centered around raw beats and explicit topics, generally considered offensive. Despite the aggressive nature of his music, the rapper and producer still manages to portray a certain youthful charm, somehow making his taboo topics acceptable and widely appreciated by indie music aficionados. Tyler, the Creator's entertaining appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and remix of Swedish songstress Lykke Li's "I Follow Rivers" have only bolstered his fame.

Tesla

Tesla is an American hard rock group that formed in Sacramento in 1984. Taking its name from the electrical engineer and inventor Nikola Tesla, the band scored three consecutive platinum albums full of blues rock and heavy metal in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Like most of its hard rock brethren at the time, Tesla suffered when the grunge onslaught took over in the early 1990s and soon after broke up in 1996. The band was able to continue around 2000, however, powered by a renewed touring appeal and a love for messing with its sound by playing cover songs or sometimes performing in an acoustic format.
