The Vanderbilt Commodores represent the athletic programs and teams of Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. The school maintains Division I standing as a member of the Southeastern Conference, and is also an active member of the American Lacrosse Conference. Since the debut of its athletics program in 1886, Vanderbilt University has grown to become one of the most recognizable names in intercollegiate sports. In addition to the school's success across several varsity sports, the women's bowling team became the first in Vanderbilt University's history to win a team NCAA Championship.

The Houston Baptist Huskies represents the athletic programs and intercollegiate teams of Houston Baptist University. The Texas school's teams compete in NCAA Division I and are members of the Great West Conference, Southland Conference, Western Athletic Conference and the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation. Houston Baptist has been known for a variety of its men's and women's sports programs over the years, including baseball, basketball, cross country, soccer and golf. The school announced plans to begin a football program in 2013.

Auburn University is a public university based out of Auburn, Alabama that was chartered onFebruary7th, 1856. The Tigers are the name of the various sports teams that compete for the university in the Southeastern Conference of the NCAA Division I. The Alabama State Hornets are the teams that compete on behalf of Alabama State University in the NCAA's Division I Southwestern Athletic Conference. Based out of Montgomery, Alabama, the Hornets have a proven track record of producing players who are able to perform admirably in the heat of battle and win games for their school. Though the university hosts a number of sports teams, such as bowling and volleyball, it is probably best known for its baseball, basketball and football teams.

The Sam Houston State Bearkats represents the athletic programs and intercollegiate teams of Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas. The school competes in the Southland Conference under NCAA Division I classification. Sam Houston competes in a wide range of men's and women's sports, including football, basketball, baseball and cross country. In 2005, 2006 and 2007, the university won the Commissioner's Cup, awarded to the Southland Conference's top all-around athletic department.

The Texas Longhorns represents the athletic programs and intercollegiate teams of the University of Texas at Austin. As a member of the NCAA's Division I, the university competes in the Big 12 Conference. Texas is known for regularly fielding phenomenal football teams, and its program has launched the careers of two Heisman Trophy winners--Earl Campell in 1977 and Ricky Williams in 1998. Other men's and women's sports sponsored by the university include baseball, basketball, cross country, golf, rowing, soccer, softball, volleyball and tennis.

Texas Agricultural and Mechanical University is a public research university based out of College Station, Texas that was founded in 1876. The Aggies are the sports teams that compete for the university in NCAA Division I. The teams' moniker, "Aggies," is a nod to the rich agriculture programs that have helped propel the university to a respectable place within Texas and the larger academically-minded agriculture community. Though the school's athletic department plays host to a wide variety of sports, it is probably best known for its football program.
