For more than 30 years, this volunteer theatre group has provided the community with old-fashioned family entertainment. The theatre produces melodramas from the 1700s and the Gold Rush era. The productions are interactive and encourage cheering for the hero—and booing the villain. In the past, the group has performed dramas with titles such as The Villain Wore a Dirty Shirt and Blazing Guns at Roaring Gulch. Tickets are $12 for adults; $6 for children under 12. Snacks, soft drinks and beer are available for $1-3. Call for this season's schedule of dramas.
