Clearwater Country Club course, originally designed by Herbert Strong in 1920, has weathered several redesigns. At par 72,6010 yards from the white tees, it remains a short course of average difficulty. However, the greens are small and the fairways are plagued by sand traps, and there is occasional water. Only one of the par 5s tops 500 yards. The par-4s, with one exception, are under 400 yards long from the blue tees (6231 yards). The par-3s are varied from long to short. This is a semi-private golf course. Only soft spikes are allowed.

Depending on your choice of trip, expect to be out and about from 4 to 8 hours with catches including grunt, sea bass, and even grouper. Bring your own tackle, or rods are available for rent. Bait is provided, and anything caught will be kept on ice—and they'll even clean it for you at the end of the trip. Boats and crew are available for charter for large groups and special occasions. - Vickie Ferguson
Take the ride of your life at Sky Screamer Para sailing where you can soar 600 or 800 feet above the turquoise waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Ride alone or in pairs as you get an unobstructed view of Clearwater Beach, as you sail along the cool waters for an estimated 10 to 12 minute adventure. The boat departs from the dock every hour and your estimated time on board is approximately one hour as the captain heads out to open water. Weather conditions can be a factor when parasailing, so allow plenty of time to reschedule a reservation, if necessary.
Glen Oaks Golf Course is one of two Tampa-area courses operated by the Chi Chi Rodriguez Youth Foundation. It has narrow fairways leading to tiny greens. There are only two holes with substantial water hazards. There is also a creek that makes an occasional appearance. Holes range from 77 to 162 yards in length with the entire par-54 layout at 1929 yards. This is a public golf course. Metal spikes are tolerated, but not encouraged.
This par-63, 4350-yard executive layout has a quality pedigree and is anything but dull. The fairways yo-yo between narrow and wide with many of them framed by trees. The greens are small and accept only well played shots. The course is prettier than most executive tracks and will provide a reasonable challenge. Clearwater Executive Golf Course is a public golf course. Metal spikes are tolerated, but not encouraged.

A boardwalk with railing assists you to the beach, and what a view you get of the Gulf's famous sunsets! Parking is available, but bring change for the parking meters. Admission is free.
