Nick Sckavone, an avid baseball manager from the turn of the 20th Century, established this baseball field at Westmoreland Park
in 1939. Sckavone actively developed the wooden stadium and is credited for developing the sport in Portland. The ballpark makes this Sellwood recreation area very popular among group picnickers. Moreover, with plenty of tables and shelter, the facilities are ready for your gathering. Bring the gang for a guaranteed good time. There are no fees to use the park, unless a shelter is reserved for an event; fees depend on the event.
