The Texas Tenors is a trio of friends with a knack for singing from Houston, Texas who banded together in 2009 when they heard the television talent competition show America's Got Talent was stopping in its home state for auditions. When it came time for audiences to judge the group, The Texas Tenors was well received by American viewers and the judges--making it to the Top Five before being eliminated in fourth place. Despite its reality show short comings, the trio won fans with its deep and wonderfully grandiose harmonies that are a blend of country and classical styles, with occasional yodeling thrown in for good measure. Though the three members of The Texas Tenors all have families and day jobs, they find the time to exercise their passion for music. The group released a self-titled album in 2009 and has toured the US multiple times since its television debut.
