By the time he decided to leave The Smiths and his turbulent but prolific songwriting partnership with Morrissey behind in 1987, Johnny Marr had solidified himself as one of the era's more influential guitarists, particularly on the britpop genre that followed in the 1990s. After spending some time as a member of The Pretenders, The The and Electronic as well as laying down substantial time as a sought after session guitarist, he formed Johnny Marr and the Healers in 2000. With his new band, he released Boomsland, in 2003 and went on to release work as part of Modest Mouse, The Cribs and 7 Worlds Collide throughout the 2000s. Marr finally released his own solo album, The Messenger, in 2013 but is still remembered today as the iconic guitarist and Morissey's partner from The Smiths.

Steven Burge reprises his award-winning tour-de-force performance as a cast of over 30 characters in the acclaimed one-man show "Fully Committed", which was named one of "Time" magazine's top ten plays of 2000. In this wry, witty show, Sam is an out-of-work actor manning the phones of a five-star Manhattan restaurant. When not placating his celebrity chef boss, Sam has to fend off a nonstop parade of desperate callers (socialites, glitterati, pushy tourists, cranky senior citizens and the occasional mafioso) who will stop at nothing to land a prime reservation. Tired of the constant barrage, Sam decides to change his circumstances for the better and begins accepting bribes for "giving good table." For Steven Burge's turn as the entire zany cast, "The Denver Post" called him "one of the most fearless comic actors in town," and gave "Fully Committed" the 2009 Ovation Award for Best Solo Performance.
