The Beach Boys are primarily known for their impressive vocal harmonies and a knack for writing catchy, pop friendly songs. The band is also widely regarded to be one of the most important bands to emerge from the 60s and it has gone down as one of the most influential bands in history. While the members have since had their differences and tour without Brian Wilson, the front man that most credit as the crucial and most talented member of the Beach Boys, they do still perform songs that rouse nostalgia in the audience.

Tauk is a rock band from New York City who owns an experimental fusion of funk, jazz, rock and alternative pop. After forming in the late 2000s, the band crafted its inclusive but cohesive sound and captured the attention of legendary sound engineer Dave Natale, who invited the Tauk to record in his studio in 2011. The resulting debut album, Pull Factors, was released in 2012, followed by the 2013's Homunculus, an instrumental effort that showcases the Tauk's raw jam band power.
