Established in 1961, Johnson Estate winery is the oldest exclusively estate winery in New York State, which means that the entire wine-making process is done at the winery, from growing the grapes to bottling. The land was originally purchased by Frederick Johnson in 1908. Today, his grandchildren operate the winery, spanning 200 acres of land. About 14,000 cases of wine are produced each year here. Some of the grapes they grow include Concord, Delaware, Niagara, cabernet sauvignon and chardonnay. Their signature wine is Liebestropfchen, which translates to “little love drops". »Charles E. Burchfield Nature Art Center

Charles E. Burchfield (1893-1967), considered one of the finest watercolor artists of the 20th Century, would set up his easel and paint along Buffalo Creek, using the surrounding nature for inspiration. Today this property, which he painted on for 40 years, is now the Charles E. Burchfield Nature and Art Center. It features 29 acres of woods and gardens along the banks of Buffalo Creek. In 1998, the Town of West Seneca honored Burchfield by creating a nature center, which opened in 2000. The nature center features a 5000-square-foot interpretive center, which is the setting for exhibits, classes, and workshops that focus on fine arts, nature, and history.
