A prominent venue for cultural events in the town of Bluffton, the Ulmer Auditorium is located at the Town Hall in the center of town. Captain William Hilton, while out exploring in 1663, sighted the high bluffs and headlands of the island, naming it Hilton Head. English settlers began arriving in 1698, which resulted in continuing conflicts between them and the native people. This tour, offered each Friday, will give you a taste of what sea island life was like back then, examining both the native islander and plantation lifestyles. Honey Horn, the oldest and only surviving plantation home in Hilton Head, is a beautiful 68-acre site. Once owned by legendary Wall Street tycoon Alfred Lee Loomis, the plantation now plays host to a prime amount of Hilton Head events. So if you're in this neck of the woods, swing by Honey Horn and enjoy some good-natured frivolity.

Hilton Head Comedy Club was established in 2008 to serve as a platform for America's comedians and stand-up artists, who tour the world. The Elizabeth Wallace Theater is the epicenter of art for the Arts Center of Coastal Carolina in Hilton Head.
