    The Kerr Community Center or the Kerr Hall as it is locally called, is a historic community venue that was a refuge for the Afro-American community during the period of racial discrimination in the country. It was constructed in 1914 and hosted cultural performances and social gatherings. It has two halls, each with a seating capacity of 65 that can used to host various functions. Outside, children can enjoy the playing area, complete with picnic tables, a basketball court and walking trails.
