The Stadium is named after the 12th Governor of Michigan, Moses Wisner, who had an active role to play in the anti-slavery political movement during the 18th and 19th century. The stadium seats a decent 6,600 and provides sports facilities to the locals. The most popular local event played over here is the football match between high schools. The former Michigan Airline, a rail path, has now become the 16-mile (25.74-kilometer) stretch of the Clinton River Trail, connecting South Opdyke Road to Dequindre Road. This long, winding path is mainly used for biking and hiking. Though most of trail is unpaved, traversing it is not a problem. Paint Creek Trail is more than just a trail, it is commonly described as a "8.9 mile linear park", as each step is scenic and filled with natural beauty. The path itself was a part of the Penn Central Railroad, and its appeal draws many visitors each year, including hikers, cyclists and horse back riders. The trail mostly follows the natural route of Paint Creek, letting you admire the water and the trees surrounding it.
