The Architects of Golf lists Fred Bolton as the original designer of this 18 hole, par 72 golf course, although Russell Breeden has worked on the course. The course was built in 1932 and features Bermuda grass fairways and bent grass greens. A practice green, bar, snack bar, and fully stocked pro shop are on site.
Lighted from April through October at night on select days, this public nine hole, par 29 golf course features Bermuda greens, narrow and tree lined fairways, and fast medium sized greens. An onsite pond comes into play during the round.

A few miles north of Hartwell, off US-29, the park lies a convenient 80 miles (130 kilometers) northeast of Atlanta. Two cottages are available by reservation, as well as 78 trailer and RV camp sites and 85 picnic sites. The park's lake features a boating ramp and dock, and fishing and waterskiing are permitted as well. Canoes are available for rent, and a small beach offers bathers a chance to get their feet wet.

This park lies a short distance north of Lavonia and Atlanta on Highway 328. It is well situated for an adventurous camping excursion. The park features 20 cottages, 108 tent and trailer camp sites, five primitive backpacking sites, seven picnic shelters, and one group shelter. Private boats and water-skiers are always welcome on the lake, canoes are available for rent, and fishing is permitted. Nature trails, a beach, tennis courts, and other amenities ensure that visitors will never lack new experiences.
