Located in the Houston Baptist University, the Morris Cultural Arts Center is a multi purpose venue. This venue is quite large and is divided into four parts— The Recital Hall, McNair Hall, University Museums and the Linda and Archie Dunham Theater. The venue was designed by architect Studio Red and constructed by W.S. Bellows. This place has hosted a number of events like community performances, orchestra and dance recitals. The Huskies basketball team of the Houston Baptist University strut their stuff on the floor of the Sharp Gymnasium. Built in 1963, and operating then as the Frank and Lucille Sharp Physical Education Building, this multi-purpose arena offers seating in chair backed seats, and a capacity of 1000 spectators.
