Rated 4 out of 5 Great room Loved our room, the breakfast and the pool. The front desk staff wasn't very friendly but the hotel itself was wonderful. We had 2 Queen beds and a sofa bed and still had plenty of space in our room. The breakfasts were great and the water slides provided hours of entertainment for the kids. August 24, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 It was ok Nice motel, breakfast area and front desk could use attention. Not sure why the motel would have only one printer that doesn't work? I was asked if I wanted a receipt, this puzzles me when I am standing at the front counter to check out, why would I go through the effort to stop at the front counter to check out if I didn't want a receipt? Rated 1 out of 5 by Chris Stay at the Comfort Inn Instead Since I emailed the hotel directly twice with no response I figured this might be my only option.I want you to be aware of the decreasing hospitality at your hotel. I will be leaving a negative review of your hotel on the App also when I am able to do so.First of all your wi-if Internet is horrible. I stay at your hotel and keep hearing that it will be fixed. I was trying to download a few work files last night and was not able to. I wasn't even able to look at websites because they would never load. This has been brought up to your staff the last 3 times I have stayed there. I always get the same answer. "I am sorry but I don't know how to fix it". I guess when I have a problem I find someone that can fix it. I have increased my data plan to accommodate your hotels shortcomings for this. I guess it turns into my responsibility.Also the last time I stayed there was during the MLB All-Star game. I was excited to watch it and found that Fox was no longer on channel 4. I called the front desk and was told that Midcontinent had not been to the hotel to adjust all the TVS. I know I am speculating bit don't you just program the TV and it automatically finds the channels? So that brings me to last night. I turned the TV on to watch my favorite Fox show and guess what....Still not fixed. So I called the front office around 630pm and spoke to a woman. She said that they don't have the new cards showing the channel and didn't know what to do. So she talked to a guy and he didn't know. She said they would come up and try and figure it out. I bet you can guess what happened next...No one showed up.Ok let's get to my breakfast. The eggs were cold. All the tables were filthy. No glasses for juice. Plus I was the only one in the dining area. You had 2 employees walking back and forth. One on his cell phone and the other looked like he hated his job. This may just be me but if you have large amounts of chest hair I don't need to see that coming out of your unbuttoned work shirt. It's unprofessional and makes it look like you don't care.Then check out. I waited for 5 minutes and no one was at the counter to check me out. I finished loading my luggage and came back. This is an improvement over the last stay when I waited for 10 plus minutes. We have a direct bill account so we do not get a receipt under the door so I have to get one printed off. I am fine with that if I could check out quickly.I will say your rooms are clean and very nice but the little things make it hard for me to stay. I have stayed at the Comfort Inn in Minot and the staff is friendly, internet is fast and the food is always hot.Please respond on how you will gain me back as a customer. August 15, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by darladuck Lights shine bright We recently stayed twice at this hotel, once on 2nd floor last time on 1st floor. The spot lights they have outside the building shine right in your room on the first floor. It was awful! How is a person suppose to sleep when it looks like you are in the spot light. Overall the hotel was great, just disappointed that you could not close the curtains to darken the room. Oh and the hot tub was broke :( August 14, 2014
